Collection: Fontana Arte

FontanaArte’s legendary legacy in Italian lighting stretches back to its origins in Milan, with roots in 1881 waxed by founder Luigi Fontana’s glass‑processing venture and blossoming into a distinct design icon by 1932, when Gio Ponti and Pietro Chiesa established FontanaArte as a standalone brand celebrated for marrying artisanal glass craftsmanship with architectural clarity; over ensuing decades, this tradition of refined elegance continued under the creative leadership of visionaries like Max Ingrand—creator of the timeless “Fontana” table lamp—and Gae Aulenti, whose hybrid Giova exemplified poetic functionalism, and today the brand still champions design heritage through collaborations with contemporary talent, expertly blending classic elegance and modern innovation for stunning, lasting lighting solutions.
