Bathroom Lighting
The bathroom asks more of its light than any other room in the house. It has to be honest at 7 AM, forgiving at midnight, and beautiful in between. The right bathroom lighting fixtures get there by layering task, ambient, and accent light, and the pieces below cover all three.
The Vanity Hour
This is the light you see your face by, so it earns the most scrutiny of any fixture in the house.
- Willow Bath Vanity Light: Eclipsed glass globes on a brushed gold or matte black steel frame, with clear, copper, opal matte, smoked, or steel shade options; ELV and TRIAC dimmable, two E12 candelabra lamps. Mood: Gold catching the first light of a slow Saturday morning while the coffee is still brewing.
- Wrap Bath Vanity Light: Bands of satin white glass over a polished chrome or satin nickel backplate, in two, three, or four light configurations; dimmable, standard E26 lamps. Mood: Bright, even, no shadows anywhere, the five minutes before a job interview when everything has to be right.
- Museo LED Bath Vanity Light: A slim white aluminum and acrylic bar in 18 inch or 28 inch lengths with integrated 3000K LED at 90 CRI; ELV and TRIAC dimmable to 10 percent, ADA compliant. Mood: One clean warm line above the mirror in a bathroom where nothing is allowed to be fussy.
Sculpture at Face Height
A sconce is the one bathroom fixture you meet at eye level, so it might as well be worth looking at.
- Dot Outdoor LED Wall / Ceiling Light: A minimalist disc of stainless steel and acrylic in black or stainless, four diameters from 6.25 to 15 inches; integrated LED in 2700K, 3000K, or 3500K, dims to 10 percent, IP65 wet rated. Mood: still glowing through the steam while the shower runs long on a cold night.
- Dimple Dash LED Wall Light: A cast solid glass dome elongated over a natural or smooth black aluminum backplate, with amber, frosted, smoked, or white interior glass; integrated LED from candlelike 2200K up to 3500K, TRIAC dimmable to 10 percent. Mood: amber glass throwing a soft halo beside the tub while the rest of the house goes dark.
- Capalino Wall Light: A glowing linen cylinder on a brushed steel, midnight black, or satin brass backplate; dimmable, two E12 candelabra lamps, damp rated. Mood: a matched pair flanking the mirror, filtering light through fabric the way a hotel suite does it.
The Glass That Glows Back
When the light source and the reflection are the same object, the vanity wall gets very quiet and very good.
- Pier LED Mirror: A slim aluminum frame in black or brass across twenty one sizes, from 18 by 30 up to 42 by 72 inches; dimmable, with selectable 3000K, 4200K, or 6400K output. Mood: warm brass edges and a soft glow in a powder room that guests keep complimenting.
- Seneca LED Vanity Mirror: An edge lit rectangular mirror in 24, 48, or 60 inch widths with touch dimming and five selectable color temperatures from 2700K to 5000K at 90 CRI. Mood: tapping from daylight white to candle warm as the morning routine turns into the evening one.
- Silhouette LED Lighted Mirror TV: A perimeter lit 3000K mirror with a built in HDTV behind the glass, 15.6 or 21.5 inch screens, six widths up to 66 inches, made in the USA. Mood: the morning headlines playing inside the mirror while the razor does its work.
Bathroom Lighting by Zone
Every bathroom fixture carries a location rating that decides where it can live: damp rated fixtures handle the humidity of the general bathroom, while wet rated fixtures are the only choice where water makes direct contact, inside the shower or directly over the tub. The table below maps each fixture type to its zone and its job.

FAQs
Should vanity light come from above the mirror or beside it?
Side lighting at face height, roughly 60 to 66 inches from the floor, gives the most even, shadow free light for grooming and makeup. An over mirror bar works well on its own in smaller baths, and pairing both gives the best of each.
Do I need a special dimmer for LED bathroom fixtures?
Integrated LED fixtures list their compatible dimming type, most commonly ELV or TRIAC. Match the dimmer to that spec for smooth, flicker free performance, and confirm compatibility before install on fixtures that take screw-in lamps, since the bulb determines dimming behavior there.
