Position Overview

We're seeking a Customer Support Associate to join our growing team. This remote position is ideal for someone who thrives on communication, enjoys problem-solving, and takes pride in delivering outstanding service. The ideal candidate has previous experience in customer service-particularly in e-commerce-and is comfortable working independently in a fast-paced, detail-oriented environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Respond promptly and professionally to customer inquiries via email, phone, and chat.
  • Provide order updates, shipment tracking, and delivery information.
  • Enter customer orders accurately and efficiently.
  • Communicate effectively with vendors to resolve issues, track lead times, and coordinate replacements or returns.
  • Assist customers with product questions, including availability, specifications, and recommendations.
  • Accurately log all customer interactions and ensure timely follow-up.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to improve processes and elevate the customer experience.

  • Shopify (order management and customer communication)
  • Duoplane (vendor communication and drop-ship coordination)
  • Microsoft Teams (team communication and collaboration)

Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years of customer service experience.
  • Minimum 1 year of remote work experience.
  • High school diploma required; college degree preferred.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and dependable.
  • Familiarity with e-commerce platforms (Shopify experience preferred).
  • Lighting industry experience a plus.
