Inside a broad clear glass enclosure, the Akron Pendant Light from Savoy House displays its candlelike lamps and central stem with very little visual obstruction. Slender supports rise from the vessel to the chain above, giving the suspended glass body a structure that recalls traditional hanging lanterns without obscuring its transparency. Because every interior element remains visible, the pendant gains depth from the contrast between the outer glass shell and the darker structure held within it.
