The Demetra LED Floor Lamp with Motion Sensor from Artemide is a floor lamp designed around reach, using articulated arms to carry a compact disc head well beyond its base. You can bring the light over a chair or work surface while the stand stays out of the way, which makes the lamp useful without asking much floor space from the room. Because the joints remain visually slender, repositioning the head changes the light dramatically while the fixture keeps a lean, disciplined profile.
